My mom Yamile and I decided to start NYCBODY literally out of frustration. I work as an actress and content creator and take very seriously my fitness and all things beauty. I work out, eat healthy but honestly, diet and exercise were not enough to improve some problematic areas.

 

I found out that there are nonsurgical, noninvasive options to help accelerate my results. After having treatments done at different spas in NY, many thousands of dollars poorer and ZERO results, we decided to do much more research and find out what was out there that could REALLY work in terms of technology and treatments. We also traveled to Colombia to learn what they were doing down there in terms of aesthetics and beauty.

As a result, we came to the conclusion that no place was doing what we really wanted, so we did it ourselves! Setting up a business from the scratch was almost an impossible task. It took us lots of effort, work, energy creativity and resources.
